Alternanthera Reineckii is a beautiful red stemmed plant. When grown under appropriate conditions this plant can produce striking reds and pinks. It is one of the easiest red plants in the hobby and as a result is incredibly popular. If you want a red focal point plant then this is a great option!

Tips:
- Plant each stem deep into the substrate to allow roots to develop and anchor the plant.
- Once anchored, cut the stems to encourage a more bushy appearance, or let them grow taller for a different effect.
- Whenever you cut this plant as mentioned above, make sure to replant the cut portions. This will allow you to propagate this species relatively quickly!
