Mini Bolbitis "Baby Leaf" 

Believed to be a smaller variant of Bolbitis Heudelotii. Mini Bolbitis "Baby Leaf" is a rhizome plant similar in growth habit to Java Fern, though typically smaller and with a more dissected leaf shape. This species is suitable for beginners and experts alike. It can be grown in basic planted tanks, high tech tanks, or in moist terrariums. We find that it prefers medium light and a nice balanced liquid fertilizer. Don't throw away leaves! Float them in your tank, they will often produce plantlets from the spores on the underside of the leaves! As with all rhizome plants remember to plant each rhizome above the substrate as planting directly in the substrate will slowly kill the plant.

Our Mini Bolbitis is grown in house! We grow them in clump form which may include both younger and older plants. It is on the fragile side so please handle with care.

One portion includes a single clump of Mini Bolbitis (see photo for a sample representation). One portion will often yield multiple rhizomes which can be separated and spread out. Clump sizes vary.
